Handmade Udon shop: 肉うどんの 戸上家

I'm always on the look out for udon and we managed to find this place which wasn't too far from where we were staying in Chiba. This is a wonderful little udon shop serving handmade udon. The food here is delicious and the staff are very welcoming of foreigners, even trying their best to translate!
If you're craving udon
The udon is great, but don't sleep on the sides! Fried vegetable tempura was great!
Fried chicken is a also good side dish to order and it comes with their special salt.
Beef udon: but ask for less scallions if you want, as you'll get a mountain of them!
Zaru, cold udon: a little less worth it in my opinion, but still delicious.
This shop was great and the udon was on-par with all the great udons I've had in my life. I liked the hospitality of the young people working there and I will come back for sure.
