Loose Kyoto - Donut shop in Ninenzaka

I see a number of donut shops have sprung up across Kyoto over recent years. Since you're gonna visit Ninenzaka at least once in your life, try stopping at "Loose Kyoto", a hipster donut shop in the area.

The facade is brutalist and minimalist, but you can find warm donuts inside!

You can see the frosting is caked on generously so we had to try one. I would recommend the chocolate one but I'm a sucker for chocolate so don't listen to anything I say.

The seating is limited: they do have a long bench on the side for people to sit. And then there's one seat with a table that we fortunately got.

It's all quirky decor and the "seat" at the table was basically a wooden block and sacks. The poster is kinda cool as well. We felt like kings looking at other people with no table, but we don't like to hog, so we gobbled up the donut and drink and we up and left.
